Answer: The Record should not be changed, because it is against the physician Hippocratic Oath.

Explanation: Hippocratic oath are oath of practice sworn by physician to practice with due delligency in rendering selfless service and in giving out a genuine medical reports.

Because the physician has sworn to this oath, during his/her induction into the medical profession, the physician will be acting contrary to the oath if he/she decides to change the patient medical report.

The insurance company also has some medical team that always investigate medical reports before a claim is paid. This will make it difficult for the doctors changes to stand, even if the doctor decided to change the report.
