a circle has a sector with area 27pi and central angle of 120 what is the are of the circle?

The whole central angle is 360. So, a central angle of 120 generates a sector which is one third of the whole cimcumference.

So, the area of the circle is three times the area of the sector, i.e.

[tex]27\pi\cdot 3=81\pi[/tex]
