Do NOT tell the small bean and try to keep the mind of the child off of the worrying ness of the grandparent, when the right time has came and it is time to tell the child then you should tell the child in the most comprehensive way possible, most importantly let the parent handle the situation but make sure to give them tips on how to not trigger the tender side of the child, thank you love for hearing me

  • Losing a loved ane close individual, either a relative, or friend can be very demoralizing and it may take days or months to heal gently.

  • Mentioning the names of lost souls especially just a few days after it's occurence refreshes the kid's memory and they feel hurt.

Therefore, mentioning the name of the ds grandma is very inappropriate.
