The Video Dean has a special offer that allows customers to rent one movie at the regular price of $7.95 and receive another rental free. The Groovy Movie gives out coupons that let customers deduct $2.50 from the regular price of $6.25 for each movie rental. Is it more expensive to rent two movies at the Video Den or the Groovy Movie? How much more expensive?

Video Dean : 1 movie at reg price and receive 1 free...so it costs 7.95 for 2 movies.

Groovy Movie : deduct 2.50 from regular price of 6.25 for each movie.
6.25 - 2.50 = 3.75 per movie...for 2 it is 3.75(2) = 7.50 for 2 movies.

Video Dean is a little more expensive...by 45 cents
