Why did the United States get pulled into World War I?
A. Germany owed the United States money for war supplies.
B. Mexico attacked the United States.
C. The United States was shown a letter from Germany encouraging Mexico to invade America.
The US wanted to stay out of the war but it was the sinking of the Lusitania killing 1200 civilians that would slowly sway public opinion in the other direction. Also when American ships were starting to get targeted the US finally joined in 1917
