During a catered lunch an average of 4 cups of tea are poured per minute. This lunch will last 2 hours. How many gallons of tea should the caterer bring if there are 16 cups in one gallon

4 cups are poured every minute...there are 60 minutes in 1 hr...so for 2 hrs, there is 120 minutes...at 4 per minute = 120 * 4 = 480 cups in 2 hrs

16 cups = 1 gal
480 cups = 480/16 = 30 gallons <===
