The volume of a cone uses the formula V= nr^2 h/3

So the large cone's volume is  V= 3.14 * 1.5^2 *5/ 3

                                              v= 11.775

The volume of the small cone is V= 3.14 * 1^2* 5/3

                                                      V=5.23

Now find the difference.   11.775 - 5.23= 6.54

Round to the nearest tenth is  6.5
