Describe one area in which states have more power than the federal government. Explain why you think states have kept power in this area.
Exclusive powers are those powers reserved to the federal government or the states. Concurrent powers are powers shared by the federal government and the states. Only the federal government can coin money, regulate the mail, declare war, or conduct foreign affairs.
We can take US states as an example. The state governments should be given more powers to control the crimes in the society. It requires a longer process to be continued for any case to reach the central government so state government should be authorized to take certain immediate and necessary actions in their hand to prevent crimes.
