Can someone please help me I am doing a project were I have to wet a cloth and wrap it around a thermometer. Then I have a dry cloth and wrap it around another thermometer. The degrees for the wet one was 40 degrees and the dry one was 35. I had to do it three times and the dry one was still 35 on three trys and the wet one was still 40. now calculate the average. (f degrees - 32) x 5/9= the celsius

From the math you get 225.

Divide 225 by six due to their being six values

37.5 would be the average without the (f degrees-32) x 5/9

(now following the formula you put ((dont know if you have to follow though)))

37.5 - 32 x 5/9 = 3.055555556 degrees celcius.
