x² - 2x -24 = 0
x² - 2x -24 = 0
(x- 6) (x+ 4)=0
x= 6, -4
So, length= 8 inches and breadth = 6 inches.
Hence, the Perimeter of rectangle= 2( 8 +6)= 2*14= 28 inches
