Codifications together with the development of traditions allowed people to create a sense of unity, where everyone was interconnected, sharing concepts, religion, values and goals. These elements created a strong bond between people and became an ethical code for which to live and for which people would struggle to maintain, because the sense of unity is essential for this society to grow and develop.
