Some push factors include a decrease in job employment and increase in homelessness because the population of New York City is so high that most well-to-do jobs are already taken. Some areas are too populous already. Also, other cities such Phoenix, Arizona or Los Angeles are becoming larger and have more opportunities for some people. Another point could be environmental problems. As we know, New York City is so large and populated that there is lots of pollution and a decrease in air quality, meaning climate can be harmful to people there.
