Today, I do not. Lately, politics and political beliefs have been dividing this nation. If you watch the news, you know hat I am talking about. For example, the Black Lives Matter Movement. Some believe that people of black color are not treated fairly, and the only way to change the law is to protest. Other people however believe that everything is already fair, and that protesting isn’t the correct way to go, especially when you are not doing it peacefully. Additionally, many people are dividing about the LGBTQ community. Some view it as love is still love, while others don’t.
Now more than ever, our country is divided. It won’t stop until we bring justice, and until political beliefs stop getting in the way of friendships.
