The events are arranged based on their happenings in the story "Up the slide" by Jack London in the following. The order will be (4), (1), (3), (2), and (5).
What is the plot about?
In "Up the Fall," which is set during the Alaskan Klondike Gold Rush, Clay Dilham attempts to climb a mountain's steep slide or rock face in quest of a tree to down for firewood.
He's 17 years old and conceited. To pick up mail, he is traveling to the settlement of Dawson with a man by the name of Swanson.
After setting up camp for the night, Clay bragged that he could return in 30 minutes with a sled loaded with firewood.
The story's descending action occurs as Clay encounters new challenges as he makes his way down the hill, and we are once again concerned for Cliff's safety.
Cliff sells the wood and makes a sizable profit in the end, which is how the story is resolved. The underlying message, in my opinion, is that you should always be ready for the worst.
Therefore, the order follows by the given plot;
- Clay goes in search of a dead pine tree to use for firewood (4).
- Clay climbs across the steep mountain skape toat down the tree (1).
- Clay discovers more trees to be used as Firewood (3).
- Clay uses his ax to help him move down the mountain (2).
- Clay makes a profit from selling the firewood (5).
