I believe it is 4, because Jamestown was established in 1619 so 3 wouldn’t be true. 1 isn’t true because they believed that in the new world there was gold and treasure, so it would have never been true anyway. Number 2 would be incorrect because In 1492 Columbus started his voyage to Asia but landed in the Americas in search of a passage way which at the end Magellan found between Argentina and Antarctica.
