C. The perfume molecules are diffusing around the room. As these molecules drift from each other they begin to diffuse around other gases like oxygen. This is why when you spray a perfume right in front of you it’s too concentrated (or too much) to breathe in but once the perfume is able to diffuse and spread out it is able to be smelled without hurting your nose!
