1. Diesease was one of the main factors of the fall of the Inca Empire. Smallpox in the age of the Inca Empire was devastating due to a lack of medical resources and development. Much before the arrival of the Spanish. Some believe the disease was brought to Peru from Europeans specifically traders.
2. Advancement in weaponry also led to the fall of the Inca Empire due to the fact the Spanish began their travel to the "new land" with weapons and horses. The Spanish ended up killing thousands of Inca soldiers with at the time advanced weaponry. None of the Spanish Conquistadors were killed during battle so this show how advanced the Spanish's technology was at the time.
3. The capturing of Atahualpa, which was the Sapa Inca. He was captured by the Spanish when they arrived because he did not want to convert to Christianity. To gain his freedom Atahualpa ordered his people to fill a room with jewels. When this happened, knowing he did not need him anymore, Pizzaro killed him. This caused much disorder in the Inca civilization which helped the Spanish defeat the Inca Empire.
