An example would be the painting of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Michelangelo originally painted everyone naked, buffed up, busty, beautiful, which enraged the Pope severely. Hi was already against Michelangelo and disliked him even before he had to paint the ceiling, and this sparked a massive outrage. Due to this he had to paint more and cover them, which is why he did it on purpose in such a way that he painted some clothes that even more awakened people's imagination since it perfectly showed their figures and anything similar. This made the pope even angrier, but he couldn't say anything.
