The Middle Colonies were very blessed and this allowed them to develop a strong economy. Economic activities that took place there included:
- agriculture as their lands were fertile
- shipbuilding and fishing as they had a lot of rivers
- lumbering as they had a lot of forests
Wildlife such as bears and beavers, enjoy living in forests and woods and so we can infer that due to the presence of large forests in the Middle colonies, there were most likely quite a lot of wildlife.
This is corroborated by the fact that hunting was another major economic activity in the Middle colonies therefore we can conclude that the Middle colonies most likely had the most wildlife.
