Number of side of a hexagon: n = 6

Area of hexagon is

where, n is number of sides of hexagon, i.e., 6.

On substituting the values, we get

[tex]A=\dfrac{6}{2}\times 5 \times 8[/tex]

[tex]A=3\times 40[/tex]

[tex]A=120[/tex]

Therefore, the area of regular hexagon is 120 sq. units.
