Both North Carolina and Virginia desire more territory for settlers within their states. New land would increase trade, profit, and power for their individual states. They claim the “Tennessee territory” is theirs and appeal to the US government to settle the argument. Can the Articles of Confederation solve this problem? Why/Why not?

The Articles of Confederation served as the written document that established the functions of the national government of the United States after it declared independence from Great Britain. and they could not regulate trade in anyway  sp therefore it would not be able to settle this problem
