Why did our founding fathers originally not want a strong government? *
They wanted a government similar to that of Britain
They were all Federalists
They were anarchists
They were afraid of creating another king-like government
They were afraid that if it was too strong, it could abuse others rights. They didnt want people to have too strong of power, however they didn't want it completly weak, just not strong.
