As a girl I believe men do perceive their body because I feel that many girls want a man with a nice body which makes many men insecure with themselves. Same thing with us girls, boys want a girl with a nice body and we become insecure and then we want to change that about us.

Disclaimer: everyone is beautiful their own way, no need to change something about yourself to satisfy others, it they don’t appreciate then find someone else who does, not someone that can’t live up to your worth. Have a good day loves :)

The social media has both positive and negative influence to individuals especially how men perceive their bodies.

The media often portray that an ideal man (perfect man) must have six packs, bears, tall and light skin.

Men who do not fall into any of the above category tend to have low self esteem while some might endanger their lives to belong to the aforementioned categories.

Thus, the media influences how men perceive their bodies.
