Into the woods I go
Book and blanket in tow.
Like an explorer
I search for territory
among the trees,
then stake my claim
with a patchwork flag.
Like a ship
my blanket sails
on oceans of words
to worlds
unknown.
Where will I go?
Wherever the pages set my mind to roam.
