Two things helped save the Soviet Union from complete invasion by
Germany in November of 1941:
a. The size of the country and the Russian winter
b. Superior Russian tanks and planes
c. US getting into the war and helping the Soviet Union
d. Nuclear and chemical weapons
Explanation: many of the German soldiers were ill equipped and not prepared for the harsh winter conditions of Russia. Many soldiers froze to death, plus the sheer manpower of the Soviet Union pushed back the invading Germans.
