Please help, I am struggling so badly with French 3, I could barely keep my grade above passing last marking period and this marking period it's currently at a 59 but I just can't finish this work I am so confused and lost. If I try very hard I might be able to barely pass French 3 but should I? I am only planning on going to a 2 or 4 year college for computer science, the college with most likely be a pretty average college and definitely will not be Ivy League, will a normal college most likely accept me without taking French 3? Of coarse I could take electives to make up for the lost credits, but do average colleges care that much about French 3, should I drop it and take another elective next semester?

Answer: Most colleges want students with at least two years in a language with a passing grade.

Explanation:

Depending on what type (ex; state, ivy, or community) of college you want to apply to your choice may differ. Try looking at the type of school you're interested in and what they require or prefer. If you want to go to a state school I think two years is good enough, there are many ways to make your college applications stand out with only two years of French. If you are worried maybe supplement your french class with courses related to computer science or clubs in your school.  Hope this helps :)
