Venus is making soup. She is putting her ingredients into a pot of water. She places small amounts of the ingredients into water and heats up the pot on the stove. She slowly stirs the pot on the stove. What should Venus do to speed up the rate the ingredients are dissolving? (2 points)

You would notice that increasing the flame of your stove while you boil water causes the water to boil faster. This is because the increased temperature which is transferred to your kettle  causes the water molecules to interact faster and in turn cause the water to boil faster.

So, if Venus increases the flame of her stove, the increased temperature would cause the water in her soup to boil more and also speed up the rate at which the ingredients dissolve.
