GM = MH. By definition, if two segments are congruent, then they have the same length.
Subtraction Property of Equality. From the previous equation (5x = 3x + 4), we are subtracting 3x from both sides to get that 2x = 4.
x = 2. By dividing both sides of the previous equation by 2, we get that x = 2. The last line of the proof must be the statement you are intending to prove.
