Protect the rights, freedom and integrity of the people
Provide the government with authority to protect the people
Make sure that justice is given to everybody

With these in mind, it is important to note that a person needs to be aware of these key points before drafting a Constitution.

Values are those positive beliefs which a person has and lives by.

Some examples of values include:

Honesty
Transparency
Fairness, etc.

Therefore, when drafting a Constitution, make sure that such positive values are inherent in them so that the rights of the people are protected and the government has the authority to properly govern the people.
