Respuesta :

the x intercept is -4
the y intercept is -24
hope that helps
X-Intercept: (-4,0)
Y-Intercept: (0,-24)

To find your x-intercept you set y=0 and solve like you would a normal equation. The same thing goes for y-intercept. When looking fr y-intercept, you set x=0 and solve like you would a normal equation, by getting the variable by itself and solving.

The reason you can do it this way is because if you notice when a line intercepts the x-axis, the value of y is always 0 and when you cross the y-axis the x-value is always 0, so we can substitute the 0s to find the answer.

Hope this helps!! :)
