1. Belief in performance can be interpreted as one of two things: Either the belief in the actor in their own ablilities, or most likely, the belief that the audience can place in the believability of the actor or character.

2. Belief in your character while performing is important because not only are you forcing your mind to believe that you can realistically become the image of the character, but also so that you can experience what it is like to become that character.

3. To create belief in your own performance you must 1. Know and understand everything there is to know about the character 2. In your head, put yourself in their shoes and think about what choices they could make and what choice they decided to make 3. Understand the diffuculties and experiences the character has had to face and become what they represent.

4. The audience will not believe in the main picture of the character if: You do not give full detail on what the character is thinking, show what the character's morals are, or if your acting doesn't match up to what the character is currently doing.
