The battle of Mexico city took place from 8th to 15th Sept 1847 in the general vicinity of the city at the time of the American and Mexican war.
Various battles include the Molino del Rey, Chapultepec, and attacks on Sansome gates. out 116 soldiers and 665 soldiers were wounded in the United States and about 2700 Mexican s were killed on 8th September. The attacks were carried under the leadership of Major Winfield Scott.
