Alexander the Great was born in Macedonia. He was the son of Philip the second. Alexander is famous because he conquered most of the nine world and was the first European to reach the Indus Valley. Alexander spent most of his life conquering the Persians... and eaventually died from malaria before a campaign into Arabia
