"Evidence-based medicine" is being used to provide care to patients with the help of treatments that are based on the "latest" and "best" scientific information. This is always in pursuit of the best possible outcome for the patient. It considers three things: best evidence, clinical expertise and patient values and preferences. In comparison to the traditional medicine, the evidence-based medicine applies "evidence" into practice.
