I recommend trying Duolingo. Spanish 1-2 gets both comfortable with common phrases like what is your name, how old are you, and helps learn times and emotions. A good idea is to listen to spanish music and try and write words you recognize. This will help you learn the meanings of the songs in an enjoyable way. Exposure is great. Watch your favorite shows in spanish with english subtitles. Learn about spanish culture and holidays
