Democracy is where people rule the government and get to vote for their politics. They decide what to do with there nation. Kinda like what America did during the cold war.
Communism is where the government controls everything and there is nothing you can do to stop it. They can tell you what to do or what to say. They can even tell you what to wear. It's kinda like a parent, except you can't talk back.
