Your body would be responding in a way specifically designated to getting rid of the germs. Also, what the question they failed to say the right way is: Will the immune system react in a specific way for the cold, or will it just preform the same technique it would have to be using for removing other germs. A delayed response is when the immune system doesn't respond to a sickness or germs right away.
