This is a great point but not fully true because many kids pay thousands of dollars and have to pay college debt for many years after school. During the debate on the topic "Who is responsible for the environment's deterioration: Government or Public?", I responded thoughtfully when the opponent said the government is responsible for the deterioration of the environment by adding my viewpoint that is both government and public are responsible as it's government's job to make laws and implement them however it cannot implement the same effectively. On the other hand, the masses do not care about the environment's health but their demands and needs only.

"A debate is a discussion or structured contest about an issue or a resolution."
What is a viewpoint?
A viewpoint is "a position or perspective from which something is considered or evaluated".
I responded thoughtfully to a different viewpoint in a debate because it is really important to consider the other person's perspective and then put forward your thoughts in order not to hurt the sentiments of the opponent. You must respect the opponent's perspective.
