I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

You've probably heard the saying "Money doesn't buy happiness." It may be true in real life, but is it true of Jane Eyre? Choose at least two of the characters in the novel, from different social classes, and explain whether or not their wealth seems to influence their levels of happiness.

It’s been a long time since I read Jane Eyre but I’ll give it a shot for ya: Jane goes through different levels of wealth throughout the novel and when she gets a large sum of money she is unhappy until she can split it up with the three people she lives with, so Jane seems to be happier with less money. Rochester has lots of money in the novel and even an estate but he is lonely and tortured with guilt from his previous marriage, so no matter how much money he has he is also unhappy. Until they find love in each other they really aren’t that happy so I think in Jane Eyre no, money can’t buy happiness. (hope this helps)!
