Juan and Rita both rode bicycles from the park to Main Street. The graphs below represent the time and distance for each student’s ride. Who rode more slowly? Justify your answer.
Juan rode more slowly, Rita's graph is much steaper than Juan's. This means that she went faster and in less time. Juan took longer time and went on a slower pace. That's why I chose Juan.
