A cube has a volume of 512 cm3.
If the side length of the cube were doubled, what would the new volume be?
Please show me your work process so I can understand it.
volume of cube is side power 3 therfore cubic root volume = side length volume = 512 --> cubic root 512 =8 cm side length is 8 cm if it was doubled side length= 16 cm therefore side length after doubling = side power 3 (16) to the power 3 = 4096 cm3
