Mrs.Mayflower is making Thanksgiving dinner for 40 people. She wants to make one long table so she needs to borrow some tables. Each table can sit three on a side and two on an end. How many tables will she need?
4, because 3 on two ends= 6, 2 on other ends=4, 6+4=10, 10=number of seats at table, so 10x4=40= number people at all tables, divide 40 by the number of people at each table and you get 4.
