Charlottetown: Made initial progress developing plans for a maritime union, and made plans to meet further in the future to establish the union.
Quebec: Created the 72 Resolutions which established a system of government, proposing a bicameral chamber with both citizens directly representing the population, and appointed representatives, and kept ties with Britain within the new self-governing system.
London: Finalized the British North America Act, which made Canada an established nation responsible for their own internal affairs, with Britain still responsible for foreign policy and issues. Created Canada’s original four provinces.
