Rectangles is a quadrilateral shape that has four sides, two pairs of parallel lines, and all the corners MUST be right angles for it to be a rectangle. :)
The doorway has 4 sides with opposite sides equal in length. This means it is a parallelogram.
To make it a rectangle it needs a right angle, congruent diagonals or congruent adjacent angles. Having congruent opposite angles will not make it a rectangle as this is true for every parallelogram.
