Answer:

A Passive Sentence starts with the subject acting on the noun.

An Active Sentence starts with the noun acting on the subject.

In the examples below, the company is the noun and the new workers are the subject. In the active sentence, it starts with the company—the noun—, the grammar tense—will be—, and finally the subject. But in the passive sentence, it starts with the new workers—the subject—, the grammar tense—will be—, and finally the noun.

Just as a quick tip, teachers prefer that you write with active sentences, just because it makes more sense.

Active Sentence

The company will be hiring new workers.

Passive Sentence

New workers will be hired by the company.

1) The room has been cleaned.

2) The concert has been postponed.

3) The computer is being used at the moment.

4) I didn't realise that our conversation was being recorded.

5) When we got to the stadium, we found that the game had been cancelled.

6) A new ring road is being built around the city.

7) A new hospital has been built near the airport.
