Bacterial growth is process where a bacterium divide into two daughter cells, which is through a process called binary fission. The two daughter cells produced are genetically identical to the parent cell.
Time, Temperature, Oxygen, Moisture can control the growth of bacteria.
Oxygen: some bacteria survive in the presence of oxygen and produce energy, they are called obligate aerobic bacteria.
Moisture: some bacteria survive most on food with high moisture content. High moisture content aid there growth.
Temperature also affect the growth of bacteria. High temperature will render bacteria inactive and can kill them.
