Respuesta :

The heroes that we have today are different from the heroes that we had in the past due to the following:

  • The heroes in the ancient tales usually work for a reward, but the modern heroes do not work for a reward.
  • Modern day heroes typically are less selfish unlike the ancient heroes that are more concerned about themselves alone.
  • Modern heroes have better qualities than the ancient heroes.

  • The traits that all heroes share include courage, determination, selflessness, conviction, perseverance etc.

  • An example of someone who will be a hero today based today, based on the characteristics of an epic hero is William Kyle Carpenter. He risked his life while serving in the Marines when he shielded his colleague from a bomb that was thrown. He was given a Medal of Honor as a result of this.
