For my blog entry, I will be writing about how I would like to be a technical designer. This means that when a fashion designer is done designing the article of clothing I would oversee production. It would be my job to organize and supervise the manufacturing process. This includes getting the right patterns made to making sure that the correct fabric is at the factory when it is time to start production.

An ideal day at work for me would look like getting my daily duties done. I would do this by using my leadership skills to make sure things are going as they should. Some difficulties I might overcome would be one of the machines not working properly. I would use my programming skill to fix this mistake.

Some steps I can take now is taking all the sewing and design classes in high school. I could also take internships at big companies. In college, I would get a degree in engineering or industrial design. I would also need to have some background in art.
