A standard number cube was rolled multiple times, and the results were recorded in the table above. What can be said about the experimental probability of rolling a two versus the theoretical probability of rolling a two?

Respuesta :

The theoretical probability of rolling a two will be 1 in 6 or 1/6 since there is only 1 successful event in 6 possible outcomes when you roll a cube or a dice. When you perform experiments to determine the experimental probability of rolling a two, it will not be the same as that of the theoretical probability not unless you perform the experiment infinite times.
