The passage discusses a relevant subject in the modern world, the haste of humanity. People work and have various tasks that make them think that a 24-hour day is insufficient. In fact, much of what we do today is thinking about the future. But is there a future if we do not enjoy the present? This is the question that the author questions. Living to produce is different from producing for living. We must work, but enjoy the day-to-day, live the present. This is not exactly done by the hurried society.
